This intensive 2 days masterclass will teach you how to make 4 different tipes of gum paste flowers.
On the first day you will make and shape all the petals for your Dahlia flower, connect them to wires and live them to dry overnight.
I will also give you my recipe for the best modeling gumpaste.
You will make Hydrangeas and also leave them to dry overnight.
On the second day we will do all the rest.
All along you will learn:
- how to make realistic petals for Dahlia flower without cutters
- what tools to use
- how to paint your gumpaste in shades that will give your flower a realistic look, then how to combine the colors
- how to assemble Dahlia
- how to make Hydrangeas
- how to shade them for a more natural look
- how to construct the base for the English rose.
- how to shape and glue all the petals
- how to make and paint Veronica
- how to assemble all the flowers on a dummy cake
I will provide all the materials needed. A light lunch, snacks and water are also included. You’re finished cake with all the flowers on it will be nicely packed for a safe travel. All levels of experience are welcome.
